Learning Experience Designer

Demonstrated experience creating instructional materials, curriculum, or training content for adult learners Ability to translate narrative or conceptual content into structured learning materials Excellent writing and editing skills for sensitive, relational, or emotionally complex content Experience designing facilitator-led or experiential learning resources Familiarity with accessibility principles Proficiency in Google Slides Significant experience in behavioral health, mental health, public health, social work, trauma-informed practice, or a related field Strong organizational skills Willingness to learn the GPS model and apply its principles Ability to design learning materials that function effectively within an LMS (LearnWorlds) Familiarity with asynchronous and hybrid learning approaches Ability to interview subject-matter experts and propose learning structures Competence in turning a high-level concept into a complete learning asset

Define learning goals and instructional priorities Conduct discovery conversations to understand project goals Translate stakeholder input into learning designs Develop experiential, discussion-based adult-learning pathways Adapt materials for hybrid, asynchronous, and self-paced learning Create accessible visual frameworks and conceptual diagrams Develop facilitator notes and participant materials Prepare polished slide decks for various audiences Design and maintain Google Slides templates aligned with brand Organize content into multi-module learning pathways Prepare slide-based instructional materials for LMS integration Format content for LMS compatibility Ensure materials meet accessibility expectations Revise learning materials based on feedback Support the long-term development of GPS’s learning system
