Senior Test Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. US Citizen able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. 5+ years of experience in software testing and QA roles. At least 2 years of experience in an Agile environment. Strong experience with non-functional testing (performance, security, usability, etc.). Experience with configuration/release management processes and tools. Proficiency in test case design, defect management, and use of tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, or similar. Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, or test automation frameworks.

Execute independent verification and validation (IV&V) activities for the GMM program. Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for non-functional requirements. Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using test automation frameworks. Conduct third-party testing to assess quality and compliance. Support Agile testing efforts. Collaborate with the integrated compliance team for release and configuration management. Review system documentation and requirements. Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide input on testability. Report defects and work with development teams for resolution. Prepare test reports and documentation. Validate solution meets FEMA's business and user needs. Support audits and compliance reviews.
