Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 7+ years' experience in implementing and/or maintaining a NERC compliance program. Experience as a NERC registered Generator Owner or Generator Operator strongly preferred. Battery energy storage experience is a plus. Ability to explain NERC Reliability Standard analysis simply. NERC audit certification is a plus. Experience completing and reviewing NERC RSAW’s is a plus. Experience utilizing a GRC application is a plus. Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams. Experience supporting compliance responses to RFIs or Investigations from ISOs and/or RTOs strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative. Proactive mindset to identify obstacles and provide solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft suite tools.
Responsibilities:
Serve as primary compliance SME for NERC standards. Implement and continuously improve Plus Power’s compliance program. Collaborate to identify, assess, and prioritize compliance risks. Drive compliance engagement across the company. Work with third-party compliance contractors for NERC programs. Conduct detailed gap analyses of NERC compliance evidence. Coordinate responses to regulators’ requests, audits, and investigations. Monitor and interpret new and revised NERC Reliability Standards. Coordinate readiness for new or revised NERC Standards. Support NERC Standard development comments and voting. Maintain understanding of NERC Standards and ISO/RTO requirements.
