Accountant, Revenue Accounting - REMOTE USA

8+ years of experience and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress). 4+ years of revenue accounting experience. Basic understanding of accounting principles. Familiarity with US GAAP and ASC 606 is a plus. Experience or coursework in revenue recognition is beneficial. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to learn new systems, such as ERP and CRM software. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Assist with processing revenue transactions and preparing revenue reports. Review and validate sales contracts for revenue recognition. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities. Maintain accurate records of deferred revenue. Work with ERP and CRM systems to record and report revenue data. Provide supporting documentation for revenue transactions and assist with audit requests. Collaborate with senior accountants and finance team for compliance. Participate in training on revenue accounting and ASC 606. Contribute to projects for automating and improving revenue processes. Participate in cross-functional initiatives related to revenue. Assist with other ad-hoc tasks and projects.
