Sr Engineer, Camera - SuperNatural Vision (SNV)

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field. 7+ years in camera and sensor engineering for shipped products in aviation, consumer electronics, or related industries. Experience defining and managing system architecture, requirements, and interfaces for complex electronics platforms. Strong cross-disciplinary hardware integration experience across display systems, SoCs, board-level design, camera systems, optical sensors, inertial sensors, and audio subsystems. Proven ability to lead technical programs/teams in imaging system development and integration. Deep expertise in camera system design, sensor selection, optics integration, and tuning. Strong understanding of image signal processing (ISP), image quality tuning, and computer vision fundamentals for embedded systems. Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware-software interaction issues. Experience with sensor bring-up, calibration, and validation methodologies. Familiarity with embedded imaging pipelines, data interfaces, and performance optimization.

Track top-level features, requirements, and specifications for camera and sensor integration. Manage vendor engagement for camera and sensor systems. Capture and track system requirements including image quality, calibration, data transmission, and thermal performance. Drive aviation certification program for camera and sensor technologies. Drive engineering development and review of hardware design (camera/sensor, computing, display). Manage interface definitions between camera/sensor systems and aircraft systems.
