Principal Data Product Manager, Enterprise Governance (Remote)

8-10+ years of product management experience. At least 3 years focused on data governance, data platforms, or master data management. Demonstrated success delivering cross-functional data initiatives. Familiarity with modern data stack architectures, including cloud data platforms, transformation tools, and orchestration frameworks. Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills. Experience defining and tracking product KPIs and using data for prioritization. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Deep understanding of data governance frameworks and MDM best practices (nice to have). Hands-on experience with MDM technologies and data governance platforms (nice to have).

Define long-term product vision and roadmap for data governance and MDM capabilities. Translate business, regulatory, and technical needs into product requirements for governance services. Partner with data engineering teams to design and implement scalable governance frameworks and MDM solutions. Lead the development of master data models and entity domains. Establish and track success metrics for data quality, stewardship, metadata, and adoption. Champion data ownership models, stewardship frameworks, and governance policies. Collaborate with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams on privacy regulations and access control. Influence enterprise data strategy by promoting data accountability and reusable data products. Communicate complex governance concepts to executive audiences. Drive adoption of governance and MDM platforms through training, documentation, and change management.
