Requirements:
7+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or marketplace management. Proven success leading teams and managing P&L for a high-growth business. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-driven approach. Excellent communication and collaboration across departments. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field. Experience in logistics, gig economy, or tech marketplaces (e.g., Uber, DoorDash, TaskRabbit, Amazon Logistics). Experience scaling teams in early- or growth-stage startups. Familiarity with automation, AI, or marketplace optimization tools. MBA or equivalent leadership education is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all marketplace functions including Community Ops, DriverOps, PartnerOps, Support, MarketplaceOps, CentralOps, Training, and Quality. Ensure seamless, reliable, and compliant daily operations across all departments. Implement and enforce operational policies, compliance standards, and process discipline. Build scalable systems, SOPs, and workflows. Lead market expansion readiness, capacity planning, supply-demand balance, and regional strategy. Develop, manage, and monitor operational budgets and departmental cost structures. Track and report on key financial and operational performance metrics. Identify and execute cost-optimization opportunities. Drive margin improvement through operational efficiency and marketplace performance. Support revenue growth by aligning operational strategy with business development objectives. Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to define and execute company-wide operational strategies. Translate strategic goals into measurable operational plans and milestones. Analyze performance KPIs across departments to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Lead continuous improvement initiatives. Provide weekly operational health summaries and quarterly leadership performance reviews. Lead, develop, and mentor department heads, managers, and operational staff. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development across all operational teams. Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and drive accountability. Foster a culture of excellence, transparency, and ownership. Coach underperforming teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain high morale. Manage relationships with key partners, vendors, and third-party service providers. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Finance. Represent Muvr with professionalism and operational authority in external meetings and partnerships. Support operational enablement and integration with new and existing strategic partners. Track and optimize key marketplace KPIs: fulfillment rate, support quality, driver performance, partner satisfaction, on-time delivery, cancellations, and supply health. Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements. Use data and analytics to guide decisions, improve capacity management, and enhance service consistency. Ensure compliance with internal controls, labor regulations, and operational safety standards.
