Staff Engineer

10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on high-scale web applications. 8+ years front-end architecture experience with mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, MFE, and modern frameworks. Deep experience in component architecture and performance optimization. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional technical initiatives or platform re-architecture projects. Proven experience establishing engineering best practices, code quality standards, and technical roadmaps. Proven track record of reducing technical debt or improving developer velocity. Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture techniques. Experience designing secure API gateways, handling authentication, and managing complex data flow. Proven ability to manage complex application state and lifecycle methods in a single-page application environment. Ability to set multi-year technical strategy and influence direction across teams. Proactively identifies systemic risks and architects solutions. Expert capability in communicating complex architectural topics. Takes ownership of significant, multi-team projects and drives them to completion.

Lead high-level architecture and implementation of a scalable, distributed front-end ecosystem. Design and implement core platform services (Identity, Navigation, Global State, Inter-App Communication). Define and enforce coding standards, application lifecycle contracts, and integration patterns. Influence product teams by establishing shared component library and design system standards. Drive architectural improvements for performance, responsiveness, and user state preservation. Mentor senior engineers, review technical designs, and solve deep coding/debugging challenges. Collaborate with DevOps to implement independent deployment strategies. Conduct strategic evaluations for new technologies and tools. Contribute to the technical recruitment process. Write high-level technical documentation and white papers. Serve as a technical liaison between product management and engineering. Perform other duties as assigned.
