Requirements
- Licensed CPA (Philippines)
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Prior experience supporting US-based companies
- Familiarity with e-commerce accounting (payment processors, chargebacks, inventory, COGS)
- Experience with sales tax compliance and multi-state/international filings
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit preparation
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Schedule and execute vendor payments
- Manage credit card payments
- Audit and process payroll
- Process influencer and contractor payments
- Process manual refunds
- Reconcile purchase orders against invoices and inventory
- Perform daily cash reconciliation
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Reconcile ad spend against invoices
- Reconcile inventory stock reports
- Prepare Amazon and marketplace sales journal entries
- Manage sales tax filing and compliance
- Handle sales tax registration for new nexus states
- Coordinate with external tax partners
- Provide audit support and documentation
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and Fulfil.io
- Review G&A expenses and departmental allocation
- Document and improve finance SOPs and workflows
- Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis
