Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA a bonus 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles At least 5 years in a leadership position within performance marketing agencies Proven experience in a digital agency or similar services related industries Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial management systems Expertise in capital allocation to drive top-line revenue Proven ability to hold business units accountable to budget and goals Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Solid understanding and experience with tax regulations and compliance Confident in systematically leveraging debt for growth and expansion Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
Ensure historical financial accuracy and handle tax/legal requirements. Deliver financial insights and recommendations. Manage financial model for margin and cash maintenance/growth. Set proper goals with department heads. Lead finance department into a strategic function. Leverage debt for M&A and implement cost controls. Ensure budget power and identify under-performance with department heads. Model growth investment impact on EBITDA and optimize capital allocation. Improve tax planning. Build visibility into capital investment and outcomes. Develop debt partners and access capital without dilution. Prepare company for market entry in 36 months. Hold accounting team accountable for initiatives like 5-day close. Manage financial model and reporting to peers. Approve offers, raises, and promotions. Hold department leaders accountable to margin expectations. Ensure cash is managed at safe levels and continues to grow. Monitor AR/AP processes. Manage insurance broker relationships and requirements. Work with legal firm on requirements and inquiries. Support corporate development with financial modeling and due diligence. Build structure, create cadence, support proactively, and empower team.
