Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks. Tech-savvy and comfortable learning EMR and scheduling systems. Ability to remain calm under pressure and support stressed patients. High follow-through and reliability. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for patient inquiries via phone, email, and text. Manage scheduling, rescheduling, and coordination of patient appointments. Maintain organized clinician calendars and manage time blocks. Update patient records accurately. Collect, review, and organize intake forms, referrals, and authorizations. Assist with maintaining EMR data hygiene. Review or gather insurance information and coverage details. Track authorizations and outstanding requests. Provide administrative support for billing and verifications. Maintain organized systems for communication logs and paperwork. Flag issues impacting patient flow, scheduling, or compliance. Contribute to improving SOPs and communication processes.
