Technical Product Manager - Mercury Controllers

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in product management or related roles. Strong expertise in low-voltage electronics and hardware, with hands-on experience in physical access control (PACS) and/or intrusion detection (IDS). Experience in product evaluation, competitive analysis, and reading/interpreting technical specifications. Ability to present ideas effectively to diverse audiences, including leadership and development teams. Knowledge of software development processes, system architecture, data structures, APIs, and web technologies. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (Scrum, Jira). Strong technical product management skills, with experience contributing to product roadmaps and GTM strategies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Gather and analyze field insights through installer studies, competitive research, and customer feedback. Define market and product opportunities, including key initiatives, product requirements, and go-to-market plans. Deliver clear and actionable product requirements while contributing to the Mercury roadmap. Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to optimize Mercury controller solutions. Manage customer requirements and expectations throughout the product lifecycle. Monitor product performance metrics and guide improvements post-launch. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for development teams, proactively identifying and mitigating risks. Create and maintain product documentation, marketing materials, and sales collateral. Ensure internal and external documentation repositories are up-to-date.
