Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, geosciences, or related field. Minimum of five years of experience in commercial land development, project management, or related disciplines. Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, external consultants, and stakeholder relationships. Advanced knowledge of land-use planning, zoning, and permitting processes. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience reviewing technical reports, coordinating site walks, and recommending actionable next steps. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects across various stages of development. Willingness to travel (~30%) for project meetings, public hearings, and company events.
Responsibilities:
Support projects through feasibility scoping, due diligence, permitting, budgeting, and schedule development. Coordinate site evaluations, technical data collection, and reviews with external consultants. Manage relationships with local stakeholders, planning/zoning boards, state and federal agencies, and outside counsel. Prepare and submit permitting applications, track approvals, and ensure compliance with local land-use requirements. Develop project schedules, monitor deadlines, and maintain organized project documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
