Linguist Talent Pool (Amharic, Oromo, Tigrinya, Vietnamese)

Native or near-native proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Amharic, Oromo, Tigrigna, Vietnamese. Excellent command of English (written and spoken) for report writing and team collaboration. Ability to scan large volumes of data and identify the most valuable pieces of information. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle patterns in linguistic content. Excellent team working skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and respond flexibly to challenges. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Experience in translation, research, or analysis work.

Identification, collection and analysis of information from a range of data sources, including social media, various online spaces and other data sources covered by our in-house tools. Providing accurate translation and cultural context for content in your specialist language(s). Drafting reports to a high standard, delivering valuable findings in a concise and robust manner. Working to demanding reporting schedules to meet project deadlines. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure linguistic and cultural nuances are accurately reflected in research outputs.
