Staff Platform Engineer - Java (R13686)

Minimum 10 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or a master's degree with an equivalent combination of education and experience. Mastery (10+ years) in software development with a strong focus on backend development and platform architecture. Expertise in Java, C#, C++, or similar. Expertise in software design principles, data structures, and algorithms. Expertise in platforms, stability, scalability and security. Expertise (5+ years) in designing, building, deploying, and maintaining container-based applications. Expertise (8+ years) in working with AWS, GCP, or Azure. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical and business problems. Strong experience (2+ years) in Continuous Delivery and 0 downtime deployment capabilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proven ability to lead and mentor multiple teams. Knowledge of secure development practices and security.

Define, standardize, implement, and evangelize software development approaches in Continuous Delivery. Redesign enterprise platform architecture for improved engineer productivity and solution robustness. Act as a high-throughput developer and technical mentor. Mediate discussions and build alignment on technical approaches across teams. Set standards for engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous delivery. Lead incorporation of feedback loops measuring customer value and usage patterns. Drive operational excellence and propose scalable improvements.
