Around 5 years of experience in onboarding, people operations, program management, or similar roles Experience both improving existing programs and running them reliably day-to-day Experience supporting onboarding or people operations in a high-growth startup or similarly fast-scaling environment Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication across time zones and async channels Comfort using or learning common HR and collaboration tools Comfort with rapid growth, evolving needs, and building just enough structure at the right time
Responsibilities:
Lead and continuously improve the onboarding program for a remote-first, globally distributed team Coordinate core onboarding activities: orientation schedules, key communications, and cross-functional workflows Partner with hiring managers to create clear, role-specific onboarding plans and expectations across departments Host or facilitate virtual onboarding sessions and support periodic in-person live sessions Maintain and refine onboarding resources (guides, checklists, FAQs) Use HR tools and systems to streamline and automate onboarding steps Gather feedback and track onboarding metrics Help design a program that can scale
