Detection Machine Learning Manager

2+ years experience managing data-driven (ML) product teams running at large scale data (100M+) 3+ years experience designing, building and deploying machine learning applications in text understanding, entity recognition, NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems, or search 4+ years of hands-on experience in building and safely shipping backend heavy product ML adjacent systems at high velocity Ability to understand business requirements thoroughly and build the simplest yet generalizable ML model/system Experience leading a team in building systems and defining metrics of excellence Experience working with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize against roadmap Ability to set high standards and expectations for project execution

Own the execution success of the quarterly roadmap for the Attack Detection team Deliver an extremely high recall detector engine in an adversarial environment Build automated model retraining pipelines using a continuous ML deployment system Develop text-based signal models for suspicious email content in multiple languages Own customer impacting and system metrics, proactively identifying and repairing degradations Manage the machine learning feature consumption layer Drive processes for project delivery according to the technical roadmap Manage quarterly roadmap updates, project time estimates, and sprint planning Identify and escalate project delivery risks Assess progress in a metrics-oriented manner and provide continuous feedback Mentor and grow engineers on the team Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams on company-wide initiatives
