Full Stack Engineer (Team lead), Web team

8+ years of experience building production-scale web applications with a focus on Laravel, PHP, and modern backend architecture. Significant experience shaping the integration layer between a PHP backend and a modern JavaScript front-end (ideally Next.js/React), including building clean, resilient APIs (REST/GraphQL). Demonstrated experience in designing scalable component models, data-loading strategies, and API architectures. Experience delivering features that directly impact key business metrics. Proactive mindset, comfortable partnering directly with designers, marketers, and product leaders. Experience designing and building highly maintainable CMS or content management systems (Bonus). Experience in developer-platform or cloud-infrastructure companies (Bonus). Active contributions to open-source projects in the Laravel/PHP ecosystem (Bonus).

Architect and implement the core Laravel backend, focusing on robust data models, API design, security, and scalability. Take backend-leaning full stack features from idea to production, owning the entire stack from database schema and API endpoints to front-end components. Partner closely with Marketing to build and improve systems that drive business growth. Act as a critical resource, contributing expertise across the full Laravel product portfolio. Serve as a go-to expert for backend development questions, contributing to technical discovery and setting implementation standards. Mentor engineers across teams, raising the bar for architectural quality, code maintainability, and security practices. Ask critical product and UX questions to ensure solutions are elegant, scalable, and solve needs.
