Intermediate Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript), AI Engineering: Editor Extensions – Multi-Platform

Strong proficiency with TypeScript across frontend and backend, including Node.js services. Hands-on experience building command-line applications and interactive terminal experiences. Experience with modern IDE extension ecosystems (e.g., JetBrains IDEs). Experience with Kotlin or modern Java. Understanding of the Language Server Protocol (LSP) or experience with language servers. Experience with modern build systems. Experience with Vue 3, the Composition API, and reactive UI design.

Contribute across the stack to build and refine multi-platform editor extensions. Design, implement, and maintain TypeScript and Node.js services for the GitLab Duo CLI. Develop and enhance the JetBrains IDE plugin using the IntelliJ Platform SDK and Kotlin. Implement features in the GitLab Language Server for AI-assisted workflows. Build modern UI components using Vue 3, component libraries, and Tailwind. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams. Advocate for improvements in product quality, security, performance, and developer experience. Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, and shape technical direction.
