Database Administrator (DBA) U.S. Citizenship Required

7+ years of related Database and system administration experience College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline (equivalent professional experience considered) Proficient with Windows servers administration Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices AWS Cloud Database (RDS) experience, especially SQL Server and Oracle Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts Direct experience providing production support for PostgreSQL and Oracle databases Technical Certifications, such as OCP or AWS certification (Desired) Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle Database Development including Stored Procedures, Constraints, Joins, Keys, Indexes, Triggers and Data Import/Export Experience with database tools like TOAD, SQL Developer and PGadmin Experience in Creating and Maintaining Database objects like Tables, Indexes, Views, Synonyms, Object types and Collections

Maintain, optimize, and secure enterprise database systems Support production operations and troubleshoot performance issues Enhance system reliability and contribute to modernization efforts Perform hands-on administration, problem-solving, and performance tuning Provide direct support for mission-critical applications Test and implement custom off-the-shelf software Troubleshoot and fix active directory, server, and database performance issues Fix security vulnerabilities related to servers and databases Perform Windows Server and Desktop administration Create data reports with SQL Server or Oracle databases Provide production support for outages Perform SQL Query performance tuning Work with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) software Participate in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations, retrospectives, and solution releases Ensure product quality and timeliness of work, provide advice and guidance, resolve problems, and provide periodic performance reports Develop new and refine existing processes to enhance quality and productivity Provide direct user support, resolving technical and procedural issues, and performing tasks like password resets and account unlocks Research, troubleshoot, and resolve SQL Server, Oracle, and Windows issues in production and development environments
