Sr. DevOps Engineer - 1806

8+ years in DevOps/SRE/infrastructure roles supporting production systems. Hands-on cloud experience (AWS preferred) + hybrid/colocated deployments. IaC expertise: Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm. CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar. Strong Linux skills: kernel tuning, perf/eBPF profiling, network stack optimization. Low-latency & real-time systems expertise (microsecond–millisecond targets). Market data & trading system experience: FIX, order management, exchange connectivity. Streaming & messaging tech: Kafka, Aeron, or equivalents. Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic, tracing tools. Scripting: Python and/or Bash. Experience working in Agile/Scrum + strong communication and cross-functional leadership.

Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure using IaC. Build, operate, and improve CI/CD pipelines with safe promotion and fast rollback. Containerize applications and manage orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS/GKE). Implement full observability: metrics, tracing, logging, SLIs/SLOs. Optimize infrastructure for low-latency, high-throughput workloads in algo-trading contexts. Support market-data ingestion, order management, FIX connectivity, and real-time pipelines. Automate operational tasks, participate in on-call, and lead incident response & postmortems. Drive capacity planning, performance benchmarking, and chaos testing. Apply best practices in security, compliance, and secrets management. Mentor junior engineers and help define DevOps/SRE standards and operational playbooks.
