Core Software Engineer (C++) - Remote

Solid professional software development experience in C++. Experience with Unix Systems. Strong knowledge in database internals and design. Experience in performance engineering. Ability to communicate well and work within and across engineering teams. Strong problem-solver with solid production debugging skills.

Contribute to, analyze, and optimize the performance of the core ClickHouse database. Extend existing and add new performance tests. Serve as a resource for the Support Engineering team to debug performance issues. Collaborate with other teams to assess the impact of new features on performance and reliability. Work with the open-source community, resolving issues and reviewing PRs.
