Full Stack Software Engineer, Member Experience

Must be able to legally work in the US. Deep understanding of web development concepts and principles. Demonstrable full-stack projects with front-end, back-end, and database code. Ability to design, develop, and launch a web application from start to finish. Ability to learn quickly and pick up new skills independently. Get-things-done attitude with eagerness to build something great. 5+ years of experience in web development (any stack). 3+ years of experience in SQL. Familiar with web & SQL security best practices. Comfortable working outside the context of a framework. Experience using git in a team environment. Ability to travel to San Jose, California offices up to three times per year and to an additional company offsite.

Develop end to end, owning features through to production. Develop best practices and write clean, secure, readable, scalable code. Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional colleagues. Integrate and build for external and internal APIs. Develop new products and alter existing PHP code. Write and optimize SQL queries and design schemas. Create and code complex backend algorithms. Profile and optimize new and legacy code. Use CSS and Javascript to complete functionality. Ship often and fast in an agile environment. Be involved in product, marketing, and business strategy.
