Firewall Administrator Team Lead (Future Opportunity)

Five (5) years relevant experience Working knowledge of Firewall Working knowledge and understanding of industry standard network environments to include firewall and security hardware/software Working knowledge of Information Assurance Best Practices In depth knowledge of LAN and WAN operations Knowledge of industry standard Incident Ticket Tracking systems Comprehensive knowledge of DoD and DLA security regulations, guidelines and policies Working knowledge of the installation, configuration and day-to-day sustainment of network equipment Must have and maintain a compliant DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, such as Security+CE Must have and maintain a valid Computing Environment certification, such as CheckPoint Certified Security Associates (CCSA); CheckPoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE); OR CheckPoint Security Master (CCSM) US Citizenship is required DoD Top Secret Clearance High School Diploma

Provide overall supervision for vendor employees Plan and manage firewall team projects Ensure work is scheduled properly for maximum resource use Ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports Resolve problems, allocate resources, manage personnel, and monitor operation performance Develop the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion Develop required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems Coordinate with the Vendor PM, CORs, and government user representatives
