Lead Software Engineer - Threat Platform

8+ years of professional software engineering experience. Hands-on development in Python or Go (experience in both is ideal). Proven track record in designing and architecting large-scale, petabyte-scale data pipelines or similar distributed systems. Experience with streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub, Pulsar). Experience with analytics engines (e.g., ClickHouse, Trino, Spark). Cloud-native development proficiency (e.g., containerization, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, observability tools). Strong understanding of SaaS, security operations, or detection engineering is a plus. Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, review code, and influence engineering best practices. Excellent communication skills. Comfortable in agile environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

Architect & Implement High-Throughput Data Pipelines Design and build scalable, cloud-native data pipelines leveraging Go / Golang. Integrate and optimize streaming technologies and analytics engines. Ensure solutions meet high-performance and low-latency requirements. Drive technical direction for the Threat Platform team. Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and stakeholders on architecture. Lead the end-to-end execution of complex projects. Partner with Product Management, Security Research, and Data Science teams. Serve as a technical resource and mentor junior and mid-level engineers. Champion engineering excellence through TDD, code reviews, and monitoring. Advocate for reliability, observability, and scalability. Identify and address technical debt. Stay informed of industry trends and recommend new tools/processes.
