Databricks Architect

8+ years of experience as a Data Architect or Data Engineer, particularly in transformation and migration projects. Expert knowledge of Databricks platform (architecture, multi-workspace, clusters, security) and Apache Spark (PySpark, query optimization). Hands-on experience with Delta Lake and data governance concepts, including Unity Catalog implementation and access control. Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for cloud infrastructure and Databricks management. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure (ADLS, networking). Very good knowledge of Python and its applications in Data Engineering. Ability to take initiative, work independently, and lead technical decisions. C1 level English for fluent communication.

Design, implement, and maintain scalable Data Lakehouse solutions using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Medallion Architecture. Implement data governance and security mechanisms, including Unity Catalog configuration and RBAC. Lead migration and transformation projects from legacy systems to Databricks. Oversee the creation and optimization of advanced ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and Delta Live Tables. Define monitoring strategies, tune performance, and automate data engineering processes to meet critical SLAs.
