Staff Data Platform Architect

10+ years in data-focused roles, with 5+ years in a senior architecture or principal-level role designing large-scale data platforms. Demonstrable track record of personally designing, building, and optimizing complex, large-scale data pipelines from the ground up. Proven ability to break down complex data problems into discrete, testable, and maintainable components. Ability to partner directly with data science to translate modeling and fusion needs into scalable, performant architectural solutions. Exceptional asynchronous communication skills for a remote team and passion for data quality, testing, and security. Highly proficient in GCP or AWS and a modern data warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.). Direct experience implementing data clean room technologies or differential privacy.

Audit current GCP pipeline and design the next-generation blueprint for a modular, scalable data platform. Act as the hands-on chief designer and technical authority for the modern data stack. Design and systematize the architecture for complex, parallel data processing, including entity resolution and identity stitching. Architect the platform to handle PII and security from the ground up, leading the design and implementation of Data Clean Room technologies. Partner directly with data science to translate advanced behavior modeling and fusion needs into production data models and architectures. Define and enforce standards for the remote-first engineering team to build with quality and velocity.
