Team Lead - Advanced Analytics

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems, business, or related scientific / technical discipline, or 8 years of additional relevant experience. 10 years of relevant data analytics experience. Experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, and /or Hybrid). Experience in stakeholder management. Experience translating ambiguous requests from senior leadership into audience appropriate products. Experience in tracking costs, schedules, and performance progress. Ability to identify and mitigate risks. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Effective communication, collaboration, organization, and coordination across multiple levels. Expertise in managing high-pressure situations and crafting messaging during crises. Ability to work across multiple teams to coordinate efforts. Self-motivated to direct projects, clarify requirements, and ensure timely delivery. Able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance. US Citizen or Green Card holder. Experience supporting a federal client (preferred). Section 508 conformance experience or knowledge (preferred). Active PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent Certification (preferred).

Lead Advanced Analytics efforts to perform big data transformation and drive actionable insights. Manage Data Scientists and Data Analysts to produce reports, assessments, and analytics products. Innovate and automate through advanced analytics and automation techniques. Drive assigned tasks to completion, adhering to schedules, budgets, and scopes. Conduct regular formal reviews with Project Manager. Develop and maintain plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and schedules. Monitor milestones, identify schedule risks, and manage cost, resources, and technical challenges. Notify Project Manager of critical issues and develop mitigating plans. Lead the development of analytics standards and procedures. Manage approved changes, track work performance metrics, and take corrective actions. Serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for Advanced Analytics. Collaborate with Agency, Project Manager, and ESOM Business Operations Team members. Conduct meetings with OTG and OIT senior leadership. Collaborate on metrics and ways of working improvement with other analytic groups. Engage effectively with SREs, subject matter experts (SMEs), system owners, and monitoring groups.
