Requirements:
3–5+ years of experience in product management (or related SaaS roles). Experience building integrations or data-driven features is ideal. Background in insurance software, or significant experience working with insurance professionals. Comfortable diving into APIs, data schemas, and technical documentation. Ability to effectively communicate with engineers about data mappings, webhooks, and API endpoints. Passionate about solving user problems. Prioritize decisions based on user research and usage data. Excel at cross-functional collaboration. Thrive in an early-stage, fast-paced environment. Taken product ideas from concept to launch and iteration. Worked on a product at an insurance software company or built integrations with insurance tools. Driven usage of a product or feature through iteration and user focus. Interacted with external software partners, vendors, or important customers. Managed roadmaps with multiple initiatives, made trade-offs, and adjusted plans.
Responsibilities:
Define the insurance strategy and roadmap. Integrate Jump with major insurance agency management platforms and other insurance tools. Make product changes to improve the experience for insurance professional customers. Write clear product requirements for new integration features and insurance innovations. Work with design and engineering to clarify specs, make trade-off decisions, and ensure timely releases. Collaborate with engineers, designers, customer success, and sales. Coordinate with partner companies’ technical teams. Gather feedback on Jump’s insurance functionality. Analyze usage data to assess what’s working and what can be improved. Develop go-to-market plans with Marketing, Customer Success, and CX. Monitor utilization and drive awareness and usage.
