Medical Science Liaison

Advanced science or clinical degree (e.g. MD, DO, Pharm.D., PhD, NP, PA) 5+ years field Medical Science Liaison experience preferred Rare disease experience or prior experience in hepatology and/or gastroenterology preferred Ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific information Strong oral, written, and communication skills Able to travel frequently, up to 60% overnight travel Valid driver's license Advanced computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Willingness to learn new applications Excellent organizational skills Strong business acumen Launch experience preferred

Identify, access, and develop relationships with thought leaders and healthcare professionals. Support research initiatives and provide support to clinical site investigators. Serve as a liaison for investigator-initiated research proposals. Engage in scientific exchange in response to HCP requests. Articulate relevant scientific and clinical information. Deliver presentations to various audiences. Provide assessment of community needs to senior management. Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research, and publications. Support planning and execution of advisory boards. Stay abreast of scientific literature and clinical data. Support congress and conference strategy. Comply with company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and PhRMA guidelines.
