Regional Lead - AV Commissioning Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience Proven experience as an AV Commissioning Engineer or similar leadership role Strong understanding of AV technologies (audio processors, video codecs, displays, control systems) Familiarity with AV protocols (HDMI, HDBaseT, Dante, AES67) Proficiency in AV system calibration and audio optimization Hands-on experience with AV testing equipment and measurement tools Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality outcomes Ability to work independently and collaboratively Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and deadlines Professional demeanor and customer-focused approach Willingness to travel extensively

Manage and mentor a regional team of AV Commissioning Engineers Direct daily commissioning activities across multiple sites Coordinate resource allocation, scheduling, and task assignments Review AV system designs for feasibility, compliance, and alignment with client requirements Conduct rigorous testing and validation to guarantee AV systems meet performance standards Act as the primary point of contact during commissioning phases Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and programmers Develop and implement commissioning best practices, workflows, and documentation standards Provide advanced troubleshooting and guidance during complex commissioning tasks Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies Facilitate training sessions and promote knowledge transfer Support long-term planning and innovation within the AV commissioning function
