Senior Accountant

Academic degree related to Finance and/or accounting Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP 8+ years of experience in accounting roles, preferably within multinational environments Experience with ERP systems Advanced user of Excel (complex formulas and functions, pivot tables, macros, data analysis, modeling) Control and reconciliation minded Good level of English Flexible, proactive, analytical, problem solving, strong organizational skills Good knowledge of the accounting rules and standards

Maintain general accounting in compliance with Spanish GAAP Manage asset amortization and advance payment processes Perform balance sheet reconciliations Prepare expense & income accruals and provisions Participate in financial closing processes Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations Conduct foreign currency accounting and exchange difference adjustments Manage payroll accounting and related financial processes Review and post payroll entries Ensure correct accounting for social security, income tax, and employee-related liabilities Assist in internal and external audits Analyze annual accounts Support analytical accounting and cost allocation Identify basic process improvement opportunities Maintain data integrity in financial systems Maintain documentation standards and procedures requirements
