Requirements:
  • BS in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related discipline required.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience selling next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies or advanced genomics applications.
  • Experience selling into high-throughput clinical sequencing labs, research hospitals, and LDTs.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Comfortable with NGS applications and sufficient technical acumen.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport and earn trust.
  • Incisive interrogation skills with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strategic territory management and planning.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Flexible to accommodate a fast-growing product portfolio and change.

  • Adept at identifying market opportunities in technical and evolving applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and evaluate accounts for growth opportunities and develop territory strategy.
  • Coordinate sales calls, document meeting minutes, and track competitive intelligence.
  • Travel to customer sites for meetings, exhibitions, and networking.
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts, understand buying processes, and map decision makers.
  • Build and maintain relationships, identify pain points, and position solutions.
  • Consistently deliver on commitments to customers.
  • Understand and articulate technical features and benefits of Watchmaker products.
  • Leverage CRM to drive sales process, including prospecting, needs analysis, and closing.
  • Develop and maintain opportunity pipeline and forecast.
  • Communicate customer requirements to internal teams.
