Accounting Associate (Remote, USA-Based)

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related fields. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, audit, and/or tax. Turkish CPA (SMMM) License (big plus). Outsource accounting service experience (big plus). USGAAP experience (big plus). Extensive knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Experience with Accounting Software Systems (big plus). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Business English. Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data. Highly dedicated and committed to a career in accounting and tax. Quantitative and analytical mindset. Excellent cross-group collaboration skills. Highly organized, multi-tasking skills, and ability to operate in ambiguous environments. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures.

Support the onboarding process for new clients. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. Use company software for accounting, reporting, and tax tasks. Prepare payroll, sales tax returns, and depreciation schedules. Assist with audits and reconciliations. Analyze financial data to forecast revenue and evaluate profit margins. Prepare and file U.S. corporate and individual income tax returns. Research complex tax and accounting issues. Contribute to special projects and financial report preparation.
