Senior Data Analyst (Safety)

5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst Exposure to Trust & Safety, Risk, or Compliance analytics Strong mastery of SQL Experience building analytical models and exploring large, complex datasets Worked with modern data stacks (DBT, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.) and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Metabase) Solid foundation in statistics (hypothesis testing, causal inference, anomaly detection) Rigorous and discreet when working with sensitive data Ability to translate Safety issues into business-relevant insights and actionable recommendations Comfortable presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences Proactive, structured, and capable of prioritizing high-impact analyses in fast-paced environments

Partner with the Trust & Safety team to define and monitor key Safety KPIs Collaborate with Data Engineering to design scalable data models and pipelines for Safety analytics Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover behavioral patterns and measure the impact of moderation and prevention features Build dashboards and reports that connect Safety performance to broader product and business metrics Suggest advanced statistical models to better understand harmful behaviors and content transitions Provide the Safety team with tools and frameworks to assess their impact autonomously Align stakeholders across Product, Marketing, and Operations on a shared understanding of Safety metrics Contribute to the refinement of Safety data tracking, ensuring compliance with regulatory and privacy expectations Evangelize the use of data in Safety and promote a culture of experimentation and measurement
