SQL Database Administrator (DBA)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience as an SQL Database Administrator (at least [X] years) Strong experience with SQL Server (versions 2008 and above) Familiarity with database replication, clustering, and high availability setups Strong knowledge of T-SQL, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and SQL Server Agent Experience with database performance tuning and query optimization Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies, including high availability and disaster recovery Familiarity with monitoring and automation tools Experience with database security management Excellent problem-solving, analytical, attention to detail, and communication skills

Administer, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases Monitor and optimize database performance for high availability and scalability Implement and manage backup strategies and test recovery procedures Implement and manage database security policies and access control Conduct performance tuning of SQL queries and database configurations Use monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and resolve performance bottlenecks Work with IT staff to design and implement database solutions Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SQL-related issues Maintain documentation of database configurations and procedures Generate reports on database performance and health
