Software Test Lead Engineer (SDET)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline. 7+ years of quality engineering experience. Hands-on experience in system testing, test automation, and test harnesses using open-source tools. Good knowledge of frontend and backend application testing, API and mobile testing, and integration with DevOps pipelines. Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate closely with clear communication skills across different time zones. Advanced experience with JMeter, K6s for designing and executing performance validations. Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, and AppDynamics. Strong hands-on skills in Python, JavaScript, and Groovy for building test automation frameworks. Deep familiarity with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and artifact management (Artifactory).

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Develop and enhance AI-leveraged automation frameworks. Define and achieve performance/scalability benchmarks. Lead platform areas for functional, automation, and infrastructure initiatives. Provide technical expertise on requirement analysis, design, testing, and delivery of SaaS solutions. Identify gaps and issues, strategizing activities and workflows. Grow technical expertise in SaaS development, test automation, CI/CD, and scalability. Continuously enhance testing strategies and methodologies. Automate API and UI testing using JMeter, Python with Robot frameworks, Playwright, and open-source tools. Work with profiling tools to identify performance and concurrency bottlenecks. Integrate test cycles with CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers. Mentor other team members through collaboration and knowledge sharing. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices.
