Senior Development Manager

Undergraduate degree required. Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in corporate/foundation relations, institutional giving, or non-profit development. Proven track record of securing 5- and 6-figure grants. Thorough knowledge of fundraising compliance, reporting standards, and best practices. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with document formatting and production. Prior experience utilizing and managing Salesforce or other CRM. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.

Manage a portfolio of 65-75 institutional funders and prospects. Steward and ensure strong relationships with funders. Research new institutional funding opportunities and develop cultivation strategies. Collaborate with staff to advance funder relationships and prepare donor meeting materials. Serve as primary development point of contact for assigned program teams. Address funder inquiries, requests, and audits. Monitor funding trends and track news alerts. Lead negotiation and agreements stage with donors. Coordinate with grant writers to ensure proposal and report quality. Maintain knowledge of grant terms and conditions. Contribute to department process improvement. Support revenue targeting and reforecasting.
