Senior Healthcare Analyst

5+ years experience working in a big-data analytics role. Ability to use statistical analysis and modeling tools (such as SQL and Python) to extract insights from complex healthcare data. Experience with Athena and AWS Sagemaker preferred. Understanding of healthcare systems, medical terminologies, clinical workflows. Experience with large data sets including medical claims, pharmacy, and eligibility data required. Experience with clinical and utilization management programs for speciality care preferred. Experience developing dashboards and self service business intelligence tools such as Tableau required. Experience interfacing with internal and external business stakeholders. Experience owning complex projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, setting goals, and meeting deadlines. Ability to identify issues within healthcare data, devise solutions, and think critically. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or quantitative discipline required, Master’s degree preferred.

Cultivate deep understanding of clinical content, UM products, and clinical programs. Use analytics to produce insights to drive program effectiveness and value. Work with administrative and clinical health data to build and maintain analytical and reporting solutions. Identify optimization opportunities using statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling. Collaborate with clinical, account management, data science, and engineering partners. Track cost, utilization, and industry trends to inform stakeholders of product performance.
