Tech Lead Software Development, AI

8+ years of software development experience. 2+ years in a senior or lead role. Minor in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. Strong proficiency in modern web development (Python or similar). Strong proficiency in modern front-end languages and frameworks (Angular, TypeScript or similar). Experience integrating with and optimizing AI/LLM services. Experience with architectural patterns (event-driven, service-oriented, hybrid monolith/microservice). Proven leadership in guiding teams through technical complexity. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP), CI/CD, and DevOps practices. Understanding of basic GenAI workflow concepts (vector databases, embeddings, retrieval, prompting, orchestration). Comfortable working in cross-functional, agile environments. Fluent in English. French (a strong plus).

Lead system design and architecture discussions. Make key technical decisions balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability. Ensure AI project delivery aligns with broader architecture. Work on AI projects with 3rd party LLM providers. Build observability and monitoring tooling for AI features. Contribute hands-on to codebases. Write technical tickets bridging functional intent and technical execution. Drive reliable, high-quality delivery through planning, code reviews, and mentoring. Collaborate with other Engineering Tech Leads for technical consistency. Coach and mentor developers. Create a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and ownership. Partner with Product Managers, Data Science Tech Lead, and Designers. Represent engineering trade-offs and advocate for technical feasibility. Champion best practices in software development. Work with Platform Engineering to improve DevEx and SDLC workflows. Contribute to technical KPIs.
