Requirements:
5+ years of competitive intelligence/strategy in enterprise B2B SaaS Experience creating and managing a centralized CI knowledge base Hands-on experience creating battlecards, competitive playbooks, win/loss analyses, and supporting sales in live calls Strong technical aptitude for credible engagement with engineering and data science teams Proven ability to turn raw data and field intel into actionable sales plays, positioning shifts, and product guidance Strong analytical skills: gather data, synthesize into crisp insights Proven ability to turn competitive insights into actionable recommendations with measurable impact Excellent communicator (verbal and written) to present complex landscapes effectively Self-starter, highly collaborative across sales, marketing, product, and CS Familiarity with CI tools (e.g. Klue, Crayon) and market intelligence platforms Domain expertise in fraud prevention, AML/KYC compliance, cybersecurity, or related field
Responsibilities:
Design and execute CI strategy: monitor competitor moves, threats, pricing, launches, partnerships, and market shifts. Conduct primary and secondary research to build a competitive database. Develop competitive enablement materials like battlecards, matrices, and win/loss analyses. Provide strategic support during the sales cycle, attending calls to inject competitive perspective. Feed lessons learned back to marketing and sales enablement for messaging and positioning adjustments. Own CI knowledge management: centralize and curate intel, package insights for internal audiences. Collaborate with product teams to translate insights into roadmap guidance and differentiation strategy. Evaluate competitor product architectures and translate technical findings into business impact. Optimize CI tools and workflows, leveraging AI for efficiency and accuracy.
