Requirements:
Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist. Unrestricted, independent licensure. Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles. Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups. Experience treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings. Ability to communicate with patients from various backgrounds and provide culturally competent care. Experience working with multiple EMRs simultaneously. Advanced technical proficiency with telehealth hardware, Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients in crisis across emergency departments, hospital floors, and crisis stabilization units. Determine the most appropriate and least restrictive level of care for patients. Prescribe medication and direct or implement psychotherapeutic treatments for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Collaborate with healthcare treatment teams and utilize a patient-centered approach.
