Senior Backend Software Engineer (Integrations)

7+ years experience building and operating complex, business-critical backend systems. Deep expertise in Node.js and comfortable contributing across the stack, including PHP. Proven track record in the integrations space with understanding of patterns like webhooks, polling, message queues, and event-driven architectures. Understanding of API best practices, message queues (RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS), relational data stores (PostgreSQL), and cloud services (AWS). Demonstrated history of sound technical judgments and decision-making processes. Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies. Commitment to testing, observability, and operational excellence. Lead the design, development, and long-term ownership of core integrations platform and services. Understand customer workflows and business impact to ground technical decisions. Champion and implement practices that improve the development lifecycle and production pathways. Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and share knowledge.
