Sr. Staff Product Applications Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a related technical field 12+ years of experience in product application engineering, embedded system design, and customer-facing technical support Proficiency in writing and debugging embedded firmware in C/C++ on microcontrollers (MCUs) and application processors Experience with interpreted languages such as Python or JavaScript Solid understanding of RF communications fundamentals Hands-on experience with embedded debug equipment (oscilloscopes, logic/protocol analyzers) Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (power meters, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers) Ability to apply EE and RF fundamentals in analyzing, debugging, and optimizing applications Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive technical outcomes independently Excellent communication skills

Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams. Support and enable customers in prototyping and productizing embedded/system-level applications. Analyze, debug, and optimize Reader IC applications. Conduct hands-on lab work including hardware/software bring-up and performance measurements. Create software, scripts, and prototypes, and maintain technical documentation. Act as a technical expert on embedded firmware/software, Reader ICs, and system-level applications. Deliver training and enablement for customers, partners, and internal staff. Represent customer voice to Product Management and Engineering. Champion technology at industry events.
