Mid-Level Civil Engineer, Drinking Water

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or relevant engineering discipline. 2+ years of experience in the design of drinking water systems. EIT certification. Strong written and verbal skills. Excellent driving record and valid driver's license. Project management skills preferred. Licensed Professional Engineer a plus. Master's degree a plus. Construction experience preferred. Ability to present information to governmental boards, public groups, and/or boards of directors preferred.

Analyze, prepare and modify project aspects including data, reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs. Calculate costs and determine project feasibility. Learn locally approved engineering, utility, and water resource requirements. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies.
