Accounting Manager

5+ years of full cycle, accrual-based accounting experience managing recurring clients within a public accounting firm. 1+ years of previous experience managing 2+ direct reports. Rock solid proficiency with QuickBooks Online. Demonstrated ability to do cross-functional remote work. Crystal clear professional written and verbal communication skills. Exacting organizational standards and a calm and friendly attitude. Demonstrated ability to rapidly adapt to new technologies and software. Available and responsive during normal business hours (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday). Strong, consistent internet connection and a work environment conducive to video calls.

Lead and develop your Accounting Team, including interviewing, onboarding, training, and development. Oversee and manage your team’s client portfolio, including onboarding new clients and monitoring relationships. Review your team's submitted Accounting Deliverables and provide actionable feedback. Flex to cover team workload where needed. Own and improve your team’s Scorecard. Work with SBS Leadership on cross-functional integrations. Contribute to the overall success of the firm through active participation in weekly sharing and problem-solving.
