Ambulatory Tech 2

High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year experience in customer-focused/service setting. Associate's degree preferred. Minimum of 6 months of progressively responsible professional work experience in the ambulatory clinic setting. Knowledge of medical terminology. Computer experience preferred.

Assist providers during exams and procedures. Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs and diagnostic testing. Manage supplies and equipment for patient care and safety. Enter patient data into the electronic medical record system. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling and registration. Implement infection prevention measures. Precept new Ambulatory Technologists. Prepare room and instrumentation for procedures. Sterilize instruments and prepare specimens for the lab.
