Clinical Coder (Remote)

Proven experience in clinical coding within a healthcare setting, preferably in a GP practice. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in coding. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with clinical staff.

Review and analyse clinical documentation to accurately assign codes to diagnoses, procedures, and treatments using classification systems. Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations to maintain quality and integrity. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify information and resolve coding discrepancies. Stay updated with changes in coding practices and healthcare regulations. Generate reports and summaries as needed for auditing and performance analysis. Participate in educational opportunities to enhance coding skills and knowledge.
