Demonstrate clinical leadership and strong organisational skills Help meet practice clinical governance frameworks and keep protocols up to date Liaise with practices to look into complaints or queries Interviewing, onboarding and training new clinical staff Triage incoming patient contacts from multiple practices using digital platforms Make safe and effective clinical decisions based on limited information when required Provide telephone consultations as needed Issue prescriptions, fit notes, referrals, and safety-netting advice Escalate complex or high-risk cases appropriately Support the wider remote team, including pharmacists and care coordinators Adapt to different clinical systems (e.g., EMIS, SystmOne) and local processes Maintain clinical oversight and “keep your eye on the ball” across multiple patient flows Accurately document consultations in line with GMC and practice standards Audit the work of the rest of the team, including other GPs, pharmacists and care coordinators
