Performs remote maintenance, repair, and programming of multi-line TDM/IP based, business voice and computing systems, including key, Hosted and traditional PBX systems, and IP telephony systems. Performs all modifications, moves, adds, changes, and installation of telephone services for all business based customers, some residential may be included. Able to work remotely and able to work in a professional environment, conduct site surveys and maintain professional appearance and relationship with our existing business customers. Manage and repair Mitel PBX phone systems and voicemails. Manage SIP, T-1 and PRI. Troubleshoot Outages on PBX, PMS, and VM Systems connected to Mitel. Support Hotels, and Hospitality industry PBX and VM systems via remote access methods. Lead smart hands technicians with connectivity and troubleshooting onsite. Perform incident management for outages and repairs to PBX, VM Mailboxes, and PMS integrations (Housekeeping, AA). Remotely program, repair and maintains all phones systems including but not limited to Mitel PBX systems including Hosted IP based; and associated equipment, including voicemail, PMS Integrations, facsimile terminals, paging and intercom systems. Remotely repair and maintain all types of IP telephony systems, including adds, moves and changes of installed telephone services. Must work in conjunction with other departments for installs, provisioning repair and perform other maintenance duties as necessary. Must have the ability to proficiently use, all test equipment related to this position for both fiber and copper based systems. Determines through testing, necessary repairs that may include repairing wiring, station protectors, ground connections, running new wires, and replacing jacks, lids and pedestals as needed. Design and implement Voice infrastructure, including PBX systems and SIP trunk configurations and VOIP Monitor system performance to ensure call quality, uptime, and compliance with SLAs Troubleshoot Voice issues such as jitter, latency, echo, and dropped calls Integrate Voice systems with other collaboration tools (e.g., PMS) Configure and maintain IP phones, softphones, and voicemail systems Conduct capacity planning and bandwidth analysis for optimal voice traffic Document configurations, change logs, and recovery procedures Collaborate with vendors and support teams for escalation and updates
